    1. It's A Wonderful Life - No way I'm ever going to stop watching this movie every December.

    2. The Sound of Music - Still love it.

    3. Memento - Three times in the theatres, probably twice at home. Do what I did and don't read anything about it, just see the movie.

    4. (Walt Disney's) Sleeping Beauty - I've been watching this movie ever since I was a little girl, and I still adore and watch it.

    5. Romantic-comedies like When Harry Met Sally, Forget Paris, Joe Versus the Volcano, Sleepless in Seattle, and Groundhog Day.

Way back when, when I was dating I use to make my dates sit through movies twice.(you could do that then, pay to get in and just not leave) Most movies I watch more than once just because I always seem to miss something. It's really tough to choose just five since I own almost 300 movies and have about 50 more that I've taped from tv when they were on. It really depends on my mood as to what I watch again. I have my Hitchcock days and the romantic comedy days. These are some of the ones I've watched again lately.

Heart and Souls (I love when they sing Walk Like A Man)

Sayonara (for some reason that's one of my favorite movies, I have no explaination for it)

Sleepless In Seattle (I watch that at night after mr. gracie goes to work at least once a month)

The Great Race (the pie fight is hysterical)

Victor/ Victoria (I like everyone in the movie and premise is so silly that the whole movies is fun to watch)

Marnie (It's Hitchcock, need I say more)

There are a lot more, but this list is already strange enough!

I have to many to name and notice many of my list have already been named....
    Bridget Jones Diary
When Harry Met Sally (watched that last night for the millionth time)
    High Fidelity
    You Got Mail
    Princess Bride
    While you were Sleeping
    Breakfast Club
    Sound of Music
    It's a Wonderful life

The last movie I saw over and over in a movie theater was The Big Chill, saw it 3 times (on 3 different dates with guys who said, "it looks like your kind of movie" It still is, I do watch it again and again) It just to expensive to go the the movies more then once when you can wait for the tape or the DVD.
I could go east, I could go west, it was all up to me to decide. Just then I saw a young hawk flyin' and my soul began to rise. ~Bob Seger

Hmm...I don't know. I prefer the theatrical experience...larger than life, y'know. Amplifies the cinematography/mise-en-scene. DVDs never seem as good, even if I do get to watch them over and over again.

But here's the DVDs/VCDs I do own. Most are movies (w/ one obvious exception) I've liked enough to want to watch it again. It's a small collection, anyhow. I've added ratings, on a scale from 1 to 4.

    1) "Behind the Sun" *(Blech. Blech. Blech. Duped by its Oscar nomination. Stupid.)
    2) "Sanjuro" ***
    3) "Shower" ***1/2 (Should be 1/2 star less, but I loved that off-tune shower singing. Aww....)
    4) "Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon" ****
    5) "The Seven Samurai" ****+ (Only this one gets special treament...)
    6) "Lan Yu" ***
    7) "Romeo and Juliet" ****(Zeffrelli's version! Beautiful! Beatiful! )
    8) "Burnt by the Sun" ****
    9) "The Last Emperor" ****
    10) "Chungking Express" ***1/2
    11) "The Sound of Music" **** (Comfort food...I'm a sucker for it. *hangs head*)
    12) "Saving Private Ryan" **** ('Cause I can't deny the talent. Even if I didn't love the movie.)
    13) "Kolya" ***1/2 (Doesn't deserve the 1/2 star. But it was so sweet!)
14)"Cryano de Bergerac"***1/2 (The ORIGINAL version, with the excellent translated script and Jose Ferrer! NOT Le Depardieu!:mad)
    15) "Il Postino" **** (Should be 1/2 star less, but I'm a sucker for Neruda's poetry. )
    16) "In the Mood for Love" **** ('Cause I'm a sap. And it's my list.. *sticks out tongue)
