| Re: Best Chick-Flicks? Have you seen The Holiday? Cameron Diaz, Kate Winslet, Jude Law, Jack Black - I wasn't planning to like it when I went to the theater with some girlfriends, but have since watch it 2 times...Good for the holidays. And speaking of the holidays - White Christmas with Bing Crosby, Danny Kaye, Rosemary Clooney, Vera-Ellen (a 1954 movie) is fun to watch - the dance numbers are surreal, costumes are interesting and the love story is predictable and silly. My daughter watched it with me last night and she thought is was a pretty cool look into the past, especially for the clothes and the historical period. So some of you "young ones" may find it fun. It will probably be on tv twice a week for the next month! |

| Re: Best Chick-Flicks? A lot of good ones already mentioned. another good one that I didn't see listed was Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants. That was such a good movie. The sequel, however, was absolutely dreadful. Don't waste your time on part 2.
