| Ratatouille I just watched this movie at my local AMC, and boy, was it good! I always love Pixar movies, so it's nothing new. If you've seen the previews for this movie, then you pretty much know what this movie is about. Ratatouille is about a rat named Remy who loves to be in the kitchen and cook. Remy's idol is a man named Gusteau, who is a chef that has a restaurant in Paris. Well, Remy makes his way to Paris (by accident) through the sewer system, and soon encounters Gusteau's restaurant. Pretty soon, he meets Linguini, and they agree to work with each other. They work well with each other, and they start to put out dishes that food critics actually enjoy. Alright, that's all I'm gonna say. Go bring your family to see this theater if you haven't already. Trust me, you're going to have a great time. The box office results just came in, and Ratatouille did come in at #1 with about $47 million. It's a good amount, but compared to Cars, it's a disappointment (Cars raked in about $60 million when it first premiered). Then you can compare that to the $70 million Finding Nemo and the Incredibles made when they premiered. But I still think $47 million is a success. Oh, and the reviews are really good. |

| Re: Ratatouille I napped through about half of the movie but what I saw was really cute. At the end when the rats are all in the kitchen cooking, I couldn't get past the ick factor of rats handling the food--although they did wash their paws first. ![]()

| Re: Ratatouille The critics are giving the movie good reviews. One thing I liked was that it was a movie that work on several levels. It's about following your dreams. Adults and children can watch it. I must admit I am amazed at the textures and animation (read movement of the characters) that Pixar does. The camera work is superb. I liked the story, I liked the characters. I never watched Toy Story, or Finding Nemo or Monster Company or Cars so can give an unbiased view of the story.

| Re: Ratatouille I saw this tonight and was surprised by how much I liked it. I am not a big fan of animated movies but this was well written and very amusing.
