| Ocean's 13 ![]() The last time we saw Danny Ocean's crew, they were paying back ruthless casino mogul Terry Benedict after stealing millions from him. However, it's been a while since they've come back together, which is all about to change. When one of their own, Reuben Tishkoff builds a hotel with known casino owner Willy Banks, the last thing he ever wanted was to get cut out of the deal personally by the loathsome Banks. Banks' attitude even goes so far as to finding the amusement in Tishkoff's misfortune when the double crossing lands Reuben in the hospital because of a heart attack. However, Danny and his crew won't stand for Banks and what he's done to a friend. Uniting with their old enemy Benedict, who himself has a vendetta against Banks, the crew is out to pull off a major plan. One that will unfold on the night Banks' newest hot spot opens up, when the crew is out to bankrupt one of the city's most despised businessmen. But they're not in this for the money, but for the revenge. Ocean's Thirteen (2007) - Plot summary ============================== =========================== I saw this Saturday night, not remembering much about the first two. It was quite good, but not worth paying to see in the theatre, imo. It was slow in some points, but the snarky humour made up for it. I give it 3.5/5 stars.

| Re: Ocean's 13 eh it's a sequal better than the second but the jokes are a bit forced and a lot of unlikely takes place to make it all happen. |

| Re: Ocean's 13 Well, I can't wait till I get to see this movie, it looks really good. One thing I like is they brought back all the original characters from the first 2. |

| Re: Ocean's 13 I think I'm one of the few people who actually liked "Ocean's 12"...I liked it better than "13." With this latest one, I kept looking at my watch to see if it was over...I didn't really care for it. It was meh. I'm glad I only paid half price (or what the movie theaters consider to be half price these days...) Ellen Barkin's breasts should've gotten top billing! They were plastered on the screen for more than any of the other characters. I kept worrying there was going to be a wardrobe malfunction! ![]() |

| Re: Ocean's 13 I finally saw it, and I wish I'd have waited for the DVD. It wasn't worth it. Where were all the inside jokes? There was very little dialogue between the characters to actually make you care about them, or even get to know them much. Al Pacino looked like he was having fun, but that was about it. | |

| Re: Ocean's 13 The only comment I thought could even pass as an "inside joke" was the reference that Clooney made to Pitt at the end of the film--something like, "You should go have a couple of kids." ha ha. ![]() |

| Re: Ocean's 13 I finally saw it - that was definitely better than I expected it to be! MUCH better than Ocean's 12. I liked that it wasn't about relationships, etc., but just about the guys' friendship and a cool plan. Matt Damon is a really good comedic actor. And, whew, George Clooney looks NICE in a tux. |

| Re: Ocean's 13 I really like Ocean's 13. I didn't like the second movie very much at all but this one reminded me more of the first, in fact it reminded me just how much I liked the first one. The jokes were subtle and probably insignificant if you haven't seen the others but I still liked it, I love their chemistry.
