Re: What Films Did You Watch Today?

This is bad, but I unpacked our DVD's today and discovered several that we either bought or were gifts t hat have never been watched. Maybe now that they are in a place that I can actually SEE them on the shelf, I will watch some of the stuff we own.

Re: What Films Did You Watch Today?

I watched this M. Knight movie yesterday called "Wide Awake". If anyone has seen it, I am looking for an actor. The actor that portrayed the quiet little blonde boy who never said a word until the end of the movie. He looked extremely familiar to me and I tried IMDB and came up with nothing. This little blonde boy (I'll spoiler the rest in case those who haven't seen it might want to) [[turned out to be an angel at the end.]]

Okay, today, I watched "The Watcher" with Keanu Reeves and James Spader. All I can say is Holy Crap! I have never seen KR in a bad-guy role before. It fits him. He did an excellent job. I also watched Back To the Future III.

Re: What Films Did You Watch Today?

Yesterday I watched most of Die Hard. Today I watched The Messengers (for the 3rd time). Friday, I watched Pumpkinhead for the first time. I also watched another movie yesterday before Die Hard but I can't think of what it was off-hand. If I think of it, I'll come back in and post.
ETA: I just remembered what it was. It was a movie called "Wind Chill". Kind of weird. I didn't recognize any of the actors in it and it just seemed like so many other movies I'd seen.

Re: What Films Did You Watch Today?

SO today I went to go watch Zack & Miriam make a porno and all i can say is WHOA! This movie was the funniest, nastiest movie ive seen in awhile. Had some pretty sick and twisted stuff in it but overall I was cracking up the whole time. If ANY of you are into really hilarious/adult themed movies I highly suggest you go watch it. You wont be disappointed I promise.

Yesterday Mr buglover and I went to see Religulous at the dollar theater. It was good but not as funny as I had thought it would be.

Re: What Films Did You Watch Today?

We went to see Role Models today. Had to - huge Paul Rudd fan. It turns out that he was one of the co-writers as well, along with Ken Marino who is also in the movie. Anyway, very, very funny, though sure to offend those who get upset by kids swearing. Also predicably sweet, which I don't mind. Anyway, I will probably buy it when it comes out because, did I mention I'm a huge Paul Rudd fan? I am .

Re: What Films Did You Watch Today?

Twilight - and I've posted in that thread. Saw a trailer for a movie that might be good, but isn't the type I generally go for. It looks like it is going to be a parody of the recent dance movies, and I actually laughed a few times during the trailer. I don't generally like the "trying too obviously to be funny" type of comedy... I'll have to see if I can find the name of the movie!

ETA: wow, that was easy! It's "Dance Flick" and you can see a trailer on imdb.com.
