she was robbed at the Oscars for Elizabeth! I hope she can win Best Actress this time.

Tim Curry can take a bad movie and make it better.

So today I ended up watching the first Kick-Ass.

I liked it. I didn't love it, but it was good enough for me.

I know there's a second part out there. Will I watch it when I can? I don't know.

    3.5 / 5

By the way, the girl that played Katie's friend (Sophie Wu), gorgeous. <3

Finally saw The Butler, and it was an historical father/son journey. It was such a fabulous movie filled with excellent performances. The story weaves among significant events and people, but really brings us to care about this American family.

Went to see The Butler today and thought it was AMAZING. Forrest Wittaker and Oprah's performances were definitely Oscar-worthy.

I somehow lost my original post, so I'll try again.

Critical - did you notice Ali in her minor character role in Blue Jasmin?

I've ramped up my Netflix DVD account to three at a time (again) and watched an old favorite, The Adjustment Bureau, and the newbie, Side Effects. With Side Effects, I was disappointed the theme turned from the disease to the scam, but with CZJ in the cast, she couldn't be some minor character in the beginning. What I like about The Adjustment Bureau is the possibility of puppet strings with a little free will thrown in. Always beware or people in hats .
