It's kind of hard to understand the first time so I went back and seen it again, and it was alot better, because I understood it better.

I just remembered a logic hole that really pissed me off in this movie. During the final battle scene with the East India Company the sneaky conniving Lord just froze up and let 2 other ships blow him up. That totally was out of character and just unworthy of this criminal mastermind. It also didn't make any sense.

Ah, for just one time I would take the Northwest Passage.
Yeah, and one thing I didn't understand was, why did all those other ships just leave after that one ship got blown up?
Seriously, the East India Company ships had 3 tiers of canon on each side of the ship. They seriously outgunned the pirates and it looked as if their fleet was much larger than the pirate lord's fleet. To cut and run cause your leader was dead was bogus, especially considering that pirates were they main reason the merchants had such a hazardous life. This was the perfect time for payback. In this movie you really seriously have to ignore the fact that pirates are the bad guys, who normally fight, pillage and rape, steal your cargo and kill the crews and take the ships.Originally Posted by Johnsonator;2474191;

Well, do you think their going to make another one?
Personally, I think they should quit while they are ahead, but the movie was left open ended enough especially for all the folks who did not stay and watch the credits and therefore the 10 yrs later scene. I would not be surprised to see POTC IV.Originally Posted by Johnsonator;2478859;

I didn't see the 10 years later scene. What happened?
At the very end of the credits you see the words 10 yrs later scroll by and then the coast of England and on a cliff Elizabeth and a young boy. Close up of Elizabeths and the boys face. They wait for the sun to set and see a green spark and voila the Flying Dutchman appears. Then a close up of Will Turner. The movie ends.Originally Posted by Johnsonator;2480270;

Wow I didn't even know about that lol.
I have some great news for POTC fans! There will be a 4th Pirates! I will post more in a minute. Need to find out how much I can post (links and such). This was straight from Orlando Bloom's myspace page. Stay tuned.
Okay. Since I can't provide a link to Orlando's myspace page I will have to quote him. Here's what he says:
Hello everyone,
We finally have a definitive answer. Yes, there will be a fourth installment of the Pirates of the Caribbean! I'm as excited as all of you are! Will Turner will return. Hopefully, if all goes to plan, the film will wrap and be in theaters by July and even on the shelfs by December! Let's hope everything goes to plan, shall we?
That was posted by Orlando Bloom on his Myspace page on September 26, 2008.
I haven't seen anything yet on IMDB or anywhere else so I don't know if there's been a delay or whatever. When I find out more info on it, I will post. All I can say is Woo-hoo!!!
ETA: I just checked IMDB and they are listing POTC4 as being released in 2012. I know it seems like a long way away but believe me, it'll be here before we know it!
