This may well be the cheesiest thing I've ever written, but the scene in Grosse Point Blank where John Cusack is holding the baby and ... well, they have a moment. That was some brilliant cinema right there. I cry, but in a sort of happy-sad way, if that makes any sense.

The scene in Deep Impact where Leelee Sobieski (sp?) has to say goodbye to her parents and they hand her the baby kills me every time, too. I can watch it, rewind it, watch it again, rewind it and watch it a third time and I'll have fresh tears with each viewing.

I'm bumping this for any new folk, and because I'm feeling sentimental today.

What made me cry? Hmmmm... A quick list:

Life is Beautiful
Bridges of Madison County - I'm a sucker for unrequited love...
Message in a Bottle
Beaches
A Walk to Remember
My Girl
Titanic - I'm with you Palindrome14 - the part where the Mum is tucking the kids in bed gets me everytime too...

Also can't go past Moulin Rouge and Up Close and Personal.

And then there's a bad 80s movie, Made in Heaven which probably nobody has ever seen but I remember it made me cry like crazy when I was a teen. It runs along a similar theme to City of Angels (which incidentally also made me cry!)...

Ozmum, I remember that movie! It made me cry too!

Anne of Green Gables and Anne of Avonlea are good tearjerkers too!

It not real difficult for movie makers to get me to cry. Unless I am totally unmoved by the characters I think I probably cry right on cue every time.

Here are some that came to mind as I tried to recall making a mad dash for tissues...

Apollo 13
Band of Brothers
Cool Hand Luke
Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon
Good Will Hunting
The Harmonists
John Q
Ladyhawke
Life Is Beautiful
My Dog Skip
October Sky
Rocky
Saving Private Ryan
Silkwood
Sometimes a Great Notion
Taps
We Were Soldiers
White Fang

I cry easily when I watch movies, but I laugh as easily, it's a good balance

I have to tell you guys that I watched "Pay it forward" at school, and the teacher purposely didn't open the lights after the movie because everyone was crying their eyes out We could even hear the though guys sniffle a little

Schindler's list, Life as a house, A walk to remember, The lion King (I know!) What's eating Gilbert Grape
and...
of course, I cried a little the first time I saw Monsters, inc. "Kitty"
I love that movie, what can I say
