"Brokeback Mountain" did it for me, dammit, and I'm pretty good about not crying when watching a movie.

My niece turned 8 this past weekend and we were watching "E.T." She cried at the end and then was very embarassed about it. (I was very close to crying myself.) I just told her it meant that she's a nice person - she can feel someone else's sadness.

I finally saw Brokeback and I was crying so hard I almost choked a couple of times. So sad.

Armageddon was the only movie where i cried multipul times
    And I'm on tonight
You know my hips don't lie
And I'm starting to feel it's right
    All the attraction, the tension
Don't you see baby, this is perfection

and more recently United 93. i almost forgot about that one. i cried because that flight was headed to my home. so when i watched that all i could think was 'these were people who lived and worked in my home town' and i started to cry because it was like watching someone cl,ose to me suffer.

LOL funny topic. We were talking about this at school today and everyone said the first films that they saw that made them cry were Bambi and The Lion King. I however dispise both films and didn't cry over either. But honestly, I can't remember if I've ever cried watching one.

Does anyone here remember a movie called: The Dreamer if OZ starring John Ritter?

I only have the vaguest memories of that movie, but I do remember loving it, and it being devestatingly sad!
I have been on a quest to find it for years.... but no luck.
