No matter how many times I see it, It's a Wonderful Life when George is at the bridge again asking God to please let him live again (sniffle). The Grapes of Wrath (So sad, so unfair) Shindler's list (no explanation needed). I know there are others that also twisted my heart.

I'm a big crier too.
Big cry movies:

When a Man Loves a Woman- especially during the big fight scene where she says, "nothing has to happen for me to have a bad day, Michael. It just comes, and hits, and runs me over like a GD freight train." and her sober speech at the end.

Hope Floats- where Berniece screams for her dad when he is driving away.

And My Girl- possibly the worst, during the funeral scene where Veda is standing over the casket talking to her dead friend.
(excuse me now while i go get a box of kleenex...)

I felt manipulated emotionally in "Terms of Endearment" and therefore could not appreciate the movie. I didn't buy the story line. Let's make the sister die of cancer. I cried in spite of myself. Perhaps others will disagree with me here. Certainly, good filmmakers do ultimately manipulate the emotions of their viewers. What am I discussing? Forget I said anything.

Anyway, here are the movies in which I cried:
The Hours (It was as if an "on" switch was flipped in my tear ducts and wasn't switched off 'til the end. Have half my posts been about The Hours? Yes, probably.)
Princess Bride (the torture sequence)
Kolya (in the beginning when he loses his father)
Titanic (shameful in parts, but...I enjoyed it quite a bit)
Wings of the Dove (how could the H.B. Carter char. risk her love?)
Casablanca
Far From Heaven
Contact (i related to the jodi foster character whose search for intelligent life has much to do with her search for her father. i should read the carl sagan book again.)
Shine
Ach...there're so many.

I can catch the last 5 minutes of any lifetime movie and be grabbing for Kleenex. Heck, I can cry for sitcom shows--for example, last weeks episode of 24 made me shed a few tears (when Kim and her father were saying their goodbyes).

But for the life of me, I can't remember any specific movies; probably because crying is not noteworthy since I cry all the times. Going down the list that's already been hashed out here by others, I'm pretty sure my eyes were wet for all of those.

*Going off topic here* My biggest cry of all times came from reading Gone With the Wind. I must have cried for the last hundred pages of the book (about 2 hours reading time) and then, and I know this sounds like exaggeration but I assure you I would *not* brag about this, I cried for another hour after I finished the book. Three straight hours of crying. And this happened, not only the first time I read the book, but the second and third, as well. What a book!

I know! I cried at the movie, when she read the poem as well.

Other movies

Titanic
My best friend's wedding
Stepmom
Pretty Woman
Dead Poets Society
Coyote Ugly (can you believe it?)
Beauty and the Beast, the animated film
Lion King as well!

I'm a big cryer at the movies!

I've never cried, but the movies that have really made me feel EXTREMELY sad are...

Selena
Taken (on Sci-Fi)
Life as a House
