"Old Yeller"![]()
Selena, LaBamba, Terms Of Endearment, Any movie in which one of the main characters dies. Such as Autumn in NY and Untamed Heart.
Hurley: (holding up a Jesus statue) I don't know. I thought there might be a prowler or something.
Mrs. Reyes: (grabbing the statue) Jesus Christ is not a weapon! - LOST "There's No Place Like Home Pt. 1
Now I don't cry at movies, but the only movie where I got something in my eye was Garden State.
Well, I rarely cry during movies but I have had choked up moments (ie. "Phantom of the Opera", "Million Dollar Baby") but however, there are only two movies that have made me cry...
-"The Land Before Time" (Only the first time because...c'mon! Littlefoot's mom dies! Now the reason I would cry during the bajillion sequels is because they're so dreadful)
-"Wuthering Heights" (I'm suprised no one has mentioned this one. Watched it last night and oh my god I bawled my eyes out at the end...just the emotions were so raw and out in the open. Just heartwrenching.)
If you really did love music, you wouldn't limit yourself to just one genre.
-ET every single time, almost from beginning to end
-Imitation of Life, the Lana Turner version. Oy, it just rips your heart out at the end and for about twenty minutes leading up to it when you know what is coming!!
Those are the two never fail, I wanna cry my eyes out today picks
Thanks for reviving an old thread Jenn.
