a walk to remember was great (all time fave)...
curly sue, the majestic, the cutting edge, simply irrestible....
OMG - totally forgot about The Color Purple. That was a great movie. The acting was amazing, especially considering the cast (Oprah and Whoopi - who knew?)
Love many, trust a few, and always paddle your own canoe

So did (or does) Beauty and the Beast, Bambi, Dumbo and The Lion King. I simply CANNOT watch movies about animals dying - even cartoons. Just thinking about "Old Yeller" and "Black Beauty" makes me tear up ... I am such a wuss.
Ipse dixit.
Oh yeah. Can't forget Dumbo.
Brian's Song (the original... if you haven't seen this true story you must)

Movies that have made me cry...too many to count but here's an old one and a new one that come to mind.
Ice Castles -for some reason every time I have watched this I sob like a baby.
Return of the King - the line about the Hobbits bowing to no one just sucked me dry. I was sobbing to the point that I didn't even try to hide it. Good thing everyone else in my group was crying too.
I just remembered another one.
The Prince of Egypt.
I really hate the part where Moses's mother puts the basket with him inside in the river. Makes me cry every time.
Some of my choices:
Saving Private Ryan (opening battle scene)
Titanic (when Rose jumps from the lifeboat back to the ship)
When Harry Met Sally (New Year's Eve party)
I cried in almost all romantic comedy..but I cried so much while watching Passion of the Christ![]()
