| Hmmm, I guess Zellweger is the keading contender after the Golden Globe win. I'd like to see it go to Kidman though.

| I haven't seen the hours yet. Suppose to go after work today. I voted for Nicole. I think she's overdue. She should have won for: The Others Moulin Rouge To Die For <---she really got ripped off there IMHO She's my favorite actress and seems to be able to become the characters completely -- flawless. Again just MHO

| I think Nicole will get it, because she's been deserving of it before and has been passed by too many times. Plus, it's an "arty" kind of film that the Academy loves to pretend to like. |

| I'm rooting for Nicole, but would be happy if Salma won. To be honest, this is the first time that I've liked ALL the actors in the same category. Usually the person I hate the most gets it, but I like all 5 of these women.

| I hate and cant stand Nicole. They talk about that shes a good actor, I havent seen it yet. It seems that she has a big ego and thinks she is up there with the other big actors. I think she sees that in a few years when she losses her looks she will go by the wayside. I hope Renee gets it I didnt like Chicago much but she was good |

| I agree that Kidman is due the award. I think she stands a better chance with this movie than ever before ant feel she would be the clear favourite were it not for Chicago.

| IMHO, the person who should probably win it, won't...Julianne Moore. Not to discount any of the others, but her performance in Far From Heaven was unbelievable. That being said, I think it'll be between Nicole Kidman and Reneé Zellwegger. | |
