Who should win?
Adrien Brody for The Pianist
Nicolas Cage for Adaptation
Michael Caine for The Quiet American
Daniel Day-Lewis for Gangs of New York
Jack Nicholson for About Schmidt
Who should win?
If we're voting on who should win, then I say Adrien Brody. If we're voting on who will win, then it'll be either DDL or JN.
Who SHOULD win, was my thought lobeck .
Daniel Day Lewis should win.

I haven't actually seen any of the movies...
I hope it isn't Michael Caine as I can't stand him.
I think it'll be DDL (hope so), I haven't seen the movies though(except About Schmidt) so I don't know
I'll puke if Michael Caine wins a 3rd.
Daniel Day Louis was AMAZING in Gangs
Leonardo and Cameron were just ok and I'm surprised Cameron got nominated. I kept expecting her to crack up laughing. I like her too much in comedys I guess.
What's Ed Harris up for??
He is overdue for an award.
I love his acting.
I think he's been nominated several times now and not yet won.
I don't like the award shows like I used to.
Steve Martin hosting
I'm taping it for sure.
So, where's the Cannes Film Festival being held this year?

I'd die to see DDL win. He is one of my major actor crushes of all time (especially in Last of the Mohicans and In the Name of the Father ... lust, lust, lust).
Having said that, I think Hollywood will give it to their buddy Jack.
I think Ed Harris is up for Supporting actor.
I love him.
He is, of course, Paulie's "man" though.
