(I'll merge this separate thread into Misc. Celebrity News, which is what I should have done to begin with.)

This is...the least shocking news ever, really.

Sure hope her daughter ends up okay, very sad to hear.

I guess this means Howard K. Stern will have to find a real lawyer-type job, now.

Didn't she and that Stern guy have some kind of "ceremony"? I assume it wasn't legal, at least not in the US.

suncat.... I understand that it was more of a commitment ceremony, not a legal marriage anywhere.

I just heard the news in passing on my way home from work and thought it was a joke. Am I surprised that she died? no. Am I surprised that she died today? Yes.

What a sad, tragic life. I wonder why she was traveling with a private nurse.... obvious ongoing health issues? Apparently she was complaining of a fever last night...

I happen to be a big fan of ANS and I found out about this here at work....It just breaks my heart to hear about this! Its not so much shocking as it is sooooo sad.....I truly think all she wanted was for someone to love her and too many people got caught up in the "hype" of ANS....the only one that truly loved her was her son Daniel....I hope now they have been reunited in heaven....I think she just could't cope...and she probably did drown herself in medication....I feel such sadness for Danielynn....such tragedy already surrounds her short life....

I saw her talking on one of the entertainment shows last night.
I'm not sure when the piece was filmed but she looked dreadful.
She really looked like she was on her last legs.
Good God.
I was never a fan of hers, but I find myself a little choked up about this.
She doesn't look like she was ever really happy.

RIP.

She was extremely PAINFULLY lonely woman. She just collapsed under the stress and all the tragedy she had to go through very recently.

I feel really bad for her and her 5 month old daughter.

I think her appearing on the Insider/ET is something perpetuated by Stern. This is a woman who is encoherent and i don't even think she's aware of where she is or what she's doing half the time. After her sons death, she was completely changed, and not for the better.
