There was a legal battle between her late husbands immediate family and ANS as to is entitled to the money. If ANS gave any part of her fortune to her mother and her late husband's family won the fight wouldn't ANS have to give them back every penny.

And ANS's mother's contention for obtaining custody of the baby is laughable. For the above reasons, I'd much rather see Prince von Idiot get custody before she were even considered.

Was Howard K. ever anywhere in the picture before ANS came into so much money?

And, as far as Howard K. harming that baby, he won't hurt the "golden goose". He's unscrupulous...not stupid.

And, if Howard K is sooo upstanding, loving, forthright, etc...why has he not stepped forward to have DNA prove that he is Dannielynn's father? He has nothing to worry about, right? Yeah...OK...

What gets me is that the "nurse"'s order of who she contacted when she found ANS. Why wouldn't a nurse immediately contact 911/ambulance rather than contact HKS and the bodyguard. It sounded like protect your butt maneuvers to me. Am I the only one who has read that many of the prescription bottles had HKS's name on them? Definitely sounds like a recipe for accidental drug interaction.
As for any of the baby's daddies who have come forward...they are all in it for the money that the child stands to inherit, especially if Howard and Anna Nicole were not legally married. Then she does represent the golden cow.

As Anna's estranged mother and Howard K. Stern duke it out in the Bahamas over Dannielynn, rumors continue to swirl about what led to the busty blonde's death.

Despite reports, though, Dr. Joshua Perper, who conducted the autopsy, says he saw no signs that Anna was drinking the day of her death, even though she was spotted in a bar. According to the Miami Herald, although she had an enlarged liver, he says, ''There was no scent of alcohol in her stomach lining, no residue, nothing."

He also says that all the prescription pills in her room were in her name, not Howard K. Stern's, and that she reportedly had a high fever, nausea and was vomiting -- a possible stomach flu. ''You have material here for a number of movies,'' he admits.

Most/many celebrities have medication in someone else's name for exactly this reason...... if it got into the press that they were taking X, Y, or Z there would be a field day. Celebrities like their medical privacy.

There was some celebrity or athlete a year or so ago that got stopped in an airport for having Viagra that was prescribed to someone else. Huge discussions about medicine at that time.

Re: Stern. Yes, he was in the picture as her lawyer before there was ever any initial legal case regarding her inheritance. She was famous before they met, so to lambaste him simply because he came after the fact is quite erroneous. You could accuse everyone in her life to only be there for the money if that were the case. And she's been fighting this battle for how many years now with no money? If that's all they've been waiting around for... then they've endured quite a bit with no promise of her ever getting her husband's money, haven't they?

And... from the sounds of it, Howard K. Stern has not been her lawyer for most of her legal proceedings for 10 years. He provides assistance to her real lawyers, but isn't her main legal counsel.

No one here has talked about the apparent fact that Stern saved ANS from an apparent suicide attempt back in September. She had tried to drown herself in their pool.

How can anyone fault ANS for not giving her family money??? She absolutely despised her family.. for good reason, apparently. Why would you expect someone that had no real familial relationship with a family that she didn't get along with to support them, especially since she hadn't been in contact with them for over 15 years???? That's a bit uncalled for.

I don't think it was Howard K. that saved her when she was found face down in the pool; I'm pretty sure it was her bodyguard.

A bit of both. Howard found her and jumped in after her, but the bodyguard did the pulling out and the CPR.
