| JamiLee..... the medical examiner said a couple of times that she did not have an infection from a dirty needle. I haven't read your reuters link, but sounds like they're mixing in the National Enquirer story. ![]() He did say that she had abcesses under her skin on the left side of her butt from repeated needle wounds, and that a recent shot looks like it was deep enough to have punctured one of those abcesses and created a problem. But he said even then that isn't why she died. eta: I just read the reuters link and it doesn't mention it at all, thank goodness. JamiLee, ignore the earlier reports from National Enquirer as they weren't correct. ![]()

| In Howard K. Stern's apparent ongoing efforts to profit from this entire ordeal ( ), we have the following:Looking for a gift for the Anna Nicole Smith fan who has everything? A toothbrush supposedly used by the late pinup is for sale on eBay. “My best friend gave to me while cleaning her room,” notes the seller. “She was a housekeeper [at the Four Seasons hotel in Miami, where Smith supposedly stayed in 2005] and found it in the room the morning she checked out. . . . I’ve since moved to Tennessee and have no need for this Item.” The opening bid is $50. ****************************** * Because.... we all know people in Tennessee don't use toothbrushes. ![]()

| hi Broadway well I'm on here a lot when I should be working and I get scatter brained. I read about the final outcome on a few sites. I think I was just over-tired. I don't think I've read the National Enquirer in several years. I hate those rag mags. I like reading some of them once in a great while but, N.E maybe if I'm stuck in a waiting room and have no choice. sick about the toothbrush. Britney's hair - Anna's toothbrush. There are a lot of wackos who would buy this stuff though. It's just mental. I wish they wouldn't allow certain things just because it's too creepy. |

| next thing you know it'll be her pillow, or her make-up. Howard better not let those out, someone could collect her DNA and be the long lost child that was kept a secret for whatever reason.... |

No real surprise in Dr. Perper's report. But I don't get why Anna's psychiatrist had her on 3 different anti-depressants. I don't know anything about those medications, but I always thought one was enough. So if one doesn't work, you just keep adding more? I'd love to hear an explanation of how that works from Dr. Rhosevich. And hopefully, so will the AMA! | |

| I am still saddened by ANS death. Even if it is labelled accidental overdose. Why was she on so many drugs? Why didn't anyone help her? Why didn't she help herself? I thought this photo was pretty nice. It's entitled The Ghost of Anna Nicole Smith. ![]()

| So many people are being over prescribed. With doctor's pushing drugs to solve everything not knowing how they will interact with each other and patients believing that the doctor knows best. I don't think Anna was in any position to deal with her addiction especially after giving birth and Daniels death. I put the responsiblity on HKS and the psychartist who inadvertantly by giving Anna a cold bath to break her fever hasten her death. People thought she was getting better, but she should have been hospitalized willingly or unwillingly. |

Amen to that! I also fault Mr. Paramedic for not raising hell...and his RN wife. When you deal with multiple doctors, this is a way to end up with multiple prescriptions that can cause problems. Each doctor only knows what you tell him/her. I do know that many ERs keep lists of people who hop from one facility to another seeking drugs. This was not ANS's game, though. But, then again...who cared what she did?? Obviously, no one.

Hindsight's a beautiful thing, isn't it?I don't think I could put the blame on any third person. All indications were to anyone is that she had a flu. The cold bath worked to cure those symptoms, especially as Anna felt well enough to walk around the resort, as Dr. Perper indicated. The problem wasn't with the fact that she had a fever or the flu, the problem lie with the fact that she took sleeping medication to help her sleep. That, and the other prescribed pain medication, slowed her respiratory system to the point that they just shut down. The cold bath didn't speed that up. How many adults get forcibly hospitalized for the flu? Anna Nicole Smith was a grown woman and it's no one else's fault that she chose to not go to a hospital.

| I feel bad for Dannielynn. They say she could have problems because of all the medication ANS was on. Someone responsible and caring needs to have custody of that child. And soon.
