| A pretty good movie. Hugh Grant was at his usual self-deprecating charming best. Drew Barrymore was good as well, though I think her character was a bit too cutesy & too young to make the romance with Hugh Grant's character totally plausible (but that didn't detract from the enjoyment of the movie). I've never heard of Haley Bennett (who played the young popstar) before but she has star quality. I can see her going far.

| i loved this movie. Took my mom to see it this weekend. The beginning was hysterical and the credits include a pop up video and extra scenes, so make sure you don't leave the theater right away. My mom and I agreed that the girl that played Cora had the blankest eyes we have ever seen. looked like there was Nothing going on in that head. Either great acting or scary reality. |
