It's gotten fabulous reviews everywhere. Definitely on our must see list. Should bust the bank over the Thanksgiving holidays (altho I see the dancing penquins beat it out one day already).

I saw it last night and LOVED it. It had awesome action, made me laugh, and had Daniel Craig, whom I now have a crush on because of this movie. As a chick, I very muchly appreciated HIS eyecandy lol.

I tend to like Bond movies in general, but keep on getting disappointed whenever I watch a new one as I inevitably compare the recent movies to the old ones. This one, however, seems promising. And I'm not just saying that because both Daniel Craig and Mads Mikkelsen are in it. I was thrilled to learn about Mads being in it; it is always good to see Scandinavians get international recognition, and he is a fine actor. Oh, and those razor-sharp cheekbones! Those intensely blue eyes!

I'm not sure if I want to see this one because it's not the same James Bond guy but I may watch it and see if it's any good.

I don't want to overhype, but saw it with 3 friends and relatives of varying ages and we all loved it. The ending got a little confusing so stay alert. Definitely has more depth than the average Bond, and you see where the Bond we know came from.

I had never seen a Bond movie before. No, scratch that. I watched a few minutes of a Brosnan-era Bond movie on tv a while back but got bored. But I went to see Casino Royale and loved it. Daniel Craig is gorgeous and a great actor to boot. The action scenes were great, and I liked the relationship between Bond and Vesper Lynd. Thumbs up from me.

Now see... I thought the end was completely and utterly predictable.

I haven't been a huge Bond fan and, as such, had skipped the last few so I'm not tarnished by the Pierce Brosnan era. I did enjoy the action in this one immensely

(although the opening chase scene between Bond and the bomb maker was ludicrous in it's obvious choreography. The bombmaker makes all of these insane but graceful leaps but Bond has issues... yeah right)
but knew immediately from the casino scene on what was going to happen. *sigh*

That's not to say that it ruined my enjoyment at all, but I was surprised that it was that easy to predict. My BIL and nephew declared it the best Bond movie. Everyone else that I know that has seen it has enjoyed it greatly.

I was greatly suprise with this new James Bond Movie. Even if they were not much of a suspence (since the move could be easily predict). I thought that the actor were very good.

+ Daniel Craig is so hot in this movie. It's not the best movie of the year, but it's a very good one to go see.

I finally got out to see Casino Royale tonight, and I loved it. Sure, I figured that

Vesper either was going to be bad news or end up dead
and it turned out to be a bit of both. But, the action, especially the first chase with the parkour guy (those guys can really fly!) was very impressive and cool that they even thought to incorporate parkour into the film. The other thing we were talking about after the movie is that while James Bond had gadgets, they weren't weird, non-reality-based gadgets. Anyone can buy a defibrillator or have an epi pen or get e-mails in foreign lands on handheld devices. Of course, I nearly cried at the seven-flip car death. That was a beautiful car.

The guy that actually invented parkour was actually the guy who played the bomber. So that is why he moved as awesomely as he did.
