The Sentinel.
I remembered Chris Sarandon was in it (and what horror movie wasn't he in?)
it was lame, but scary. My son's apartment bldg reminds me of it.

I'm not sure if anyone has given the title of the movie, but I think it is Situation Hopeless... But Not Serious. I don't know if it's out on DVD or not.Originally Posted by ArchieComic Fan;2280657;

Schmoo, I remember watching The Sentinal when it came on TV as an early teen. I remember being home alone downstairs, and it scared the heck out of me! It's one of those movies that for some reason just stuck with me. I haven't watched it since though (even to see the un-edited non-TV real version), I don't want to ruin the delicious memory with something that I'm sure isn't nearly as frightening or good as I remember. But I think I'd be a little bit freaked if I had to go visit my son in a building that reminded me of the Sentinal!!
I'm trying to remember the name of a movie, maybe from the 80s, where some people are trying to break into a particular office in an office building. They use all kinds of techno gizmos to get past the security and I specifically remember that they raised the temperature of the office to body temperature so that the sensors wouldn't be set off. Any help would be appreciated.

Could it be Sneakers?
