Just saw this on Sunday night. No gloves. Also, I "think" she is back at the school b/c a lot of them said, they have no place to go. Didn't some of their parents "disown" them once they were sent to the school. Not sure if that is what happened to Rogue or not. Or maybe her parents are dead?

oh ETA: I didn't stay through the credits as I hadn't read this thread to find out there was another scene!! thanks for the last scene in spoiler form!

the cure wears off, as it seems to be doing with Magneto.

I got this for Christmas and my husband and I were disappointed with the storylines.

***spoilers if you haven't seen it. I don't know if I should use spoiler tags at this point since it's been out a while and on dvd and people coming to the thread should expect discussion. So don't read if you haven't seen the movie.***

As for Rogue going back to the school, why is everyone surprised that she would at least make one visit back. She wanted Bobby to know she was cured. That's why she went back. No mystery there. We don't know if she went back to live or not but she at least wanted to see Bobby.

The final scene after the credits went by so fast I have to go back and watch it again. It was the biggest surprise of the movie.

As for Magneto and people thinking the cure wears off - not necessarily. Remember how the one mutant categorized the mutants and that only Dark Phoenix was stronger than Magneto and Xavier? My theory is that even though Magneto was hit with 4 shots of the cure, he is so powerful that some of his powers lingered. It probably would take more than the dose he got to cure him totally. So at the end, he was practicing and was able to slightly wiggle the chess piece because his power is probably regenerating since it was never completely taken away.

There are also 3 quick alternate endings on the dvd although they aren't really anything special. Only the one with Rogue is really alternate. The other two could actually fit into the deleted scenes category.

This movie was great I thought, the best one.
