At least she's old enough now and has a very open minded, tolerant opinion that if it is racist, we can discuss it and turn it into a learning experience.
My memories of it were good ones, but I was also about 9 when I saw it. Long time ago. Memory has faded.
Where did she get ahold of a copy of it???
    (Disney isn't selling it)

There is a specialty store in a small community in our county that sells them.

Britannia - I absolutely LOVED The Station Agent! I found it one night on Sundance or IFC and could not stop watching. I've seen it probably 5 or 6 times now and never get tired of it. I just love how simple and honest the story is. It feels like these are real people. Plus, I'm a huge Peter Dinklage fan and he was really excellent in this one.

I'm pretty broke right now, so I haven't bought a DVD in a while. I think the last one I bought was Catch and Release. I'm a sucker for a romantic comedy.

I also loved The Station Agent! What terrific writing, acting and directing. It was offbeat, sweet, sad and funny.

The Cat From Outer Space. My daughter just rolled her eyes but I was excited. It is my most favoritest Disney movie.

Nancy Drew/Hardy boys season two. I so love these as they bring back huge memories for me of my childhood.
