Just ordered online from Best Buy:
Seasons 1-4 of Fresh Prince of Bel Air for my son for Christmas!

I should get those. That was what was playing in my room when I was having my daughter. I can still remember getting so mad at my dr. for watching tv and laughing. I was NOT laughing.
I still love Fresh Prince though.

Santa brought us Hairspray (watched it last night and it was just as good as the first time).

I also got Chocolat. Probably my most favorite Johnny Depp movie besides Pirates. I think that is the movie I fell in love with him.

Hubby got the Rocky Horror Picture Show.

And my daughter got the latest in the Harry Potter series. Order of the Phoenix I think.

Just bought the Seventh Season of Gilmore Girls. I stayed up 'till 4am watching and then finished the season the following day... Loved it!

I have to admit, the Gilmore Girls is a fave guilty pleasure of mine as well. When they used to re-air 'Providence' i'd watch that and for much the same reason liked GG's.

I bought the Scrubs series but also wanted to buy the entire Gilmore Girl one as well...but then i'd have to miss watching football all this weekend and i can't very well do that.

And since this thread asked which *movies*....last ones i bought were the Grindhouse duo ('Death Proof' and 'Planet Terror').

I just watched a 2 hour bio on Johnny Depp and they showed a lot of that one and I don't know how I missed it. It's on my list of ones to rent now.

I think Benny and Joon was one of my favorites of his too. I had forgotten about that one. And I loved Edward Scissorhands as well. I also really liked Blow too.


My daughters boyfriend just gave me "The Last Waltz", the last concert of the group, The Band. I love that movie and watch it everytime it's on which is about once a month it seems. He and I have had several conversations about that movie so I was really touched he remembered and gave it to me for Christmas.

I went to buy Brideshead Revisited at lunch but they didn't have it in stock, so I bought all three seasons of Entourage instead.

My daughter just bought Disney's "Song of the South". She's never seen it and I haven't seen it since I was a child so trying to remember if it is as bad as people say it is and if it was a good thing to have let her buy it. At least she's old enough now and has a very open minded, tolerant opinion that if it is racist, we can discuss it and turn it into a learning experience.
My memories of it were good ones, but I was also about 9 when I saw it. Long time ago. Memory has faded.
