This has the most influential episode of TV in my childhood: Dorothy and Ben.
Words cannot describe how powerful that episode is for me. I watched it with my mom on Sunday and we both sat and let the tears fall down our faces.
A Night at the Museum - I saw it when it came out in theaters against my will and I ended up loving it. I bought it on DVD the day it came out. My dad was disappointed that Robin Williams isn't funny in it but I think he is well suited for his role. Ben Stiller is great.
Hmmm, the only movies we've bought lately are Superman (the new one) and Rocky Balboa. Normally, we just buy kid movies. The most recent ones are Happy Feet and about 4 Thomas The Tank Engine DVD's. My little guy is obsessed with Thomas. Oh! I did just buy How To Lose A Guy In 20 Days. That movie cracks me up every time I see it.
The Departed. I was in the mood for something light and cheerful.
"The day will come when, after harnessing space, the winds, the tides, gravitation, we shall harness for God the energies of love. And, on that day, for the second time in the history of the world, we will have discovered fire."
