I haven't been able to find anything other than the fact that the Simpsons contract was renewed in March 2006 through the 19th season, in articles such as this one. I'd expect negotiations after that for any further seasons.

Well they can't stop at 19. They at least have to go to 20. A nice round number for every tv show to reach.

Re: The Simpsons' movie confirmed

I couldn't find a newer thread for this movie. So has anyone seen it? I just booked tickets to go see it tomorrow.

I saw it. It was okay, I thought. Like one long Simpsons episode, really.

Re: The Simpsons' movie confirmed

I saw this last night, and as a huge Simpson fan I wasn't disappointed. Like John said, it was basically a longer episode but in my opinion, the movie was a bit cruder (which is not bad at all). I thought it was the best during the first half [[ when the Simpsons were still in Springfield, after they left it became more of two separate stories]] (spoilers here!)

If you like the Simpsons, you will like, or love, the movie. If you don't watch the Simpsons, you can still find some laughs, I thought it was more laugh-out-loud funny than the TV show (which could also be due to watching in a theatre). If you are a Simpson fan, I highly recommend it.
