Just got done watching this, I liked it. It wasn't anywhere near as gory or scary as people made it out to be, but I still enjoyed the storyline big time. Not to mention I adore Eli Roth's style and love his passion for horror movies. This wasn't as good or creative as his first film, Cabin Fever, but I still liked it alot. I am so excited to see what Roth does with Stephen King's Cell.

I love horror movies, the gorier the better, and enjoyed Eli Roth's first effort, Cabin Fever, so I'll make sure to see this. I'll definitely wait for the DVD release, though: I'm a very jumpy (and noisy) horror movie viewer, and allowing me to watch something as scary as this in public would just be plain rude towards the other viewers.

Ace Medallion: Oooh, Eli Roth is going to direct Cell? Sounds like a match made in heaven! As of late, Stephen King books turned into movies have been a bit bland and boring, but I imagine that Eli Roth will turn that around, big-time.

Ditto that. I'm a huge horror fan and was looking SO forward to seeing this.

If you like Italian horror flicks with lots of t***ies and random body parts, this is the movie for you. Oh, and if you need a grammar lesson on the word f*** - as an adjective, noun, verb, etc.

Oh, and it completely lacks any subtlety, wit, or scary moments. I'm seriously considering asking Blockbuster for my money back.

Really? Aw, and I was really looking forward to being genuinely scared by a horror movie for a change! Gratuitous T&A really isn't my cup of tea, though. If I want that (and believe me, I don't) I'll just rent a porno. Too much sex in horror movies is unnecessary and distracting, in my opinion. Whatever happened to a plain good ol' gore fest?

Of course, I'll rent it anyway (I can't resist anything horror, and neither can my boyfriend) but thanks for warning me, AJane and ClosetNerd. You both have great taste (read: tend to like the same things I do ) so I hereby consider myself warned.
