Lindsay Lohan has already been in a film about piloting a VW Beetle - now she's going to star in a picture about murdering a Beatle. Known more for Hollywood movies about freaky Fridays, mean girls and drama queens, Lindsay is going the indie route in Chapter 27, a film about the murder of John Lennon. Lohan plays a Beatles fan who befriends Mark Chapman (played by Jared Leto) on the weekend he killed John Lennon.

Chapter 27 isn't the only indie flick on Lindsay's IMDb page. She just finished shooting Robert Altman's ensemble musical A Prairie Home Companion, and she's also set to appear in Emilio Estevez's writing/directing outing Bobby, about the assassination of Robert Kennedy.
