I didn't love this movie, but it was pretty good. I think what really hurt it for me was all the hype. Three friends, not to mention tons of critics, had all gushed over this and said it was nothing short of amazing. Not the case. It was a good film but I really don't understand why so many people think it's so wonderful. Like someone said it seemed incredibly disjointed and at the end I just felt like I really didn't get the whole story (I know we did, I just personally felt like something was missing). I did like the final scene though, I thought him returning to them all eating dinner and the family slowly accepting him (the daughter setting a place for him, the wife making eye contact) was wonderfully powerful and a great way to end the film.
