lol, I have no idea why I was typing Penelope... even though I said Paz at the beginning of my post. Must have been listening to the movie in the other room that hubby was watching... something with Brad Pitt, drug dealers, etc... Note to self, do not type about one movie while listening to another somewhere in house.

I enjoyed this movie, as it showed such a different side to Adam Sandler.

Tea Leoni, for me, was a major disappointment. I truly despised her. Granted her character was supposed to be a mess, but I didn't like her portrayal at all. (I never like her though, so I admit I am saying this with some bias.)

I understand what giz meant... that he liked the dad as portrayed by Adam Sandler.

I know that i am really late in replying to this thread, but I saw this movie oh, almost a month ago now and I absolutely loved it that i went out and bought it on DVD during Christmas break. I think it is heartwarming, heartbreaking, funny, and sad.

I may in the minority, but in the end I almost wanted Adam and Paz to become something more.
