    Summer movies!

Ok, looks like summer movie season is starting up - yay!! I just read this article online and it got me thinking about some of the upcoming movies. Which movies are you excited to see??

Here are a few that I am looking forward to (in no particular order):

    Star Wars
    Batman
    Charlie and the Choc Factory
    Herbie
    Madagascar
    Mr and Mrs Smith
    Dark Water
    War of the Worlds
    Cinderella Man

i'm dying to see mr. and mrs. smith. the trailer just looks so good. i'll also see star wars and charlie and the chocolate factory in the theater. other than that, i could probably wait till the rest came out on dvd. i might take the stepkiddo to herbie, too, though.

I'm a for the comic-book-to-big-screen stuff, so I'm looking forward to Fantastic Four and Batman Begins.

i'll see batman begins... but i have to think it's not been too terribly long since the michael keaton/val kilmer batmans. it's like they've run out of ideas.

(and i love comic book movies, too. )

Yeah, but Batman Begins is loosely based on "Batman: Year One" so I think it will be more in line with the actual Batman ethos: you know, the reluctant hero, powers from within, etc., etc.

I'm totally looking forward to it. Although, I'm going to have trouble with Christian Bale - I will always see him as his character in 'American Psyco.'

I'm with Phat! I can't wait for "Batman Begins" and "Fantastic Four". And I'll probably see "War of the Worlds" too.

I heard that "Batman Begins" is basing the movie more in reality....like they explain where the batsuit came from, how it works, how the batmobile was created, how some of the weapons work, etc. I am really looking forward to that!

    (is that a spoiler?)

It's driving my son crazy that I won't see Mr. & Mrs. Smith because of the cheating on his wife scandal. He doesn't see what that has to do with the movie. I don't think I could sit through the movie watching those two knowing they busted up his marriage. Yeah, I have issues there.
    Count your blessings!
