In my neck of the woods, I think more people were interested in the consesion stand. The theatres will most likely put them back in place closer to December.

Hey Toby, thanks for laughing. I had a rough day and that was just what I needed. By the way,the dvd's have a neat game at the end of each movie, and when you win the game you get a nifty prize. They give you a code and you punch that into a website that they give you. I won't tell you what the prize is. I'll leave that to you.

The actress playing Susan looks a lot like Andie McDowell to me. Could almost pass as her daughter.l

I've got a really bad cold, so am feeling a bit stupid. It's been a long time, but I thought Aslan doesn't die until The Last Battle, book 7? I am so looking forward to this film, it was a perfect book. The snow, the faun, the witch, good and evil, the brilliant artwork on the jackets (original and subsequent). Should be great.

i think you're right about aslan. from what i remember....

    SPOILER

in LWW he dies but is resurrected. does that ring a bell? I'm going to reread the whole series before the movie comes out to make sure i'm completely up to speed

Lea, you're so right about the girl playing susan. I'm excited about the casting of the kids, they all look really good for their roles.

There is something about this movie that just sticks out for me and I wonder if the rest of you see it as well, the costumes look just amazing. I can't help but stare at them.

the costumes definitely are amazing! i've read some interviews lately with all the people involved and one theme that just keeps coming up is the attention to detail! which i think is super important...
