I liked "Welcome to the Dollhouse." "Ghost World" is one of my favorites.
ETA: I heard "Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind" was good, but I haven't seen it yet.

I saw Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind last weekend, Scarlett. I loved every second of it.

One of my all-time favorite movies ever was Buffalo '66, directed by Vincent Gallo. IMDB listing: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0118789/

I have to admit, though, that I only know one other person who liked it as much as I do. Other people thought it was just too bizarre.

Amanda, add me to the list. I love Buffalo '66. It's one of my favorites. I also love Wim Wenders - Wings of Desire and Faraway So Close.

I see a lot of great movies I've enjoyed myself on this list already.

So I'll just try to name a few I haven't seen mentioned. Mi Vida Loca and Girlfight are two fantastic indies by kickass female directors.

I also love David Lynch and Jim Jarmusch. My favorite Lynch films are Blue Velvet, Mulholland Drive, and Eraserhead. I'd say Dune but I don't think I'm allowed to! My favorite Jarmusch films are Mystery Train and Down By Law.
