Couldn't find the old thread about movies that make you cry ...

Anyway ... just watched My Life As A House for the second time and I cried my eyes out for the second time. It's not a perfect movie by any means, but man, get your box of tissues if you're going to watch it! I thought Kevin Klein was wonderful in it.

I sobbed when I saw that movie Eden.
We have the DVD but I daren't watch it as I know I'll be set off again.

I'm not a big "cryer" at a movie--usually, I'll just get really quiet for a while afterwards. But, there are two that will always start up the waterworks...The Color Purple and It's My Party.

We Were Soldiers had me crying like crazy. It's the first time I've seen a war movie where the wives' reactions at home are focused on to such a heartbreaking degree.
