    Rewind and replay.

Do you have a favourite movie that you never tire of watching?

I have a couple, Twelve Angry Men and Platoon.
I could watch them over and over (hmmm, actually I have done)

Surely you can't be serious? I am serious, and don't call me Shirley.

Blade Runner, Apollo 13, The Abyss, The Right Stuff, Streets of Fire, No Escape, Alien, Aliens, Empire of The Sun, Apocalypse Now, Full Metal Jacket, Amelie, The Princess and The Warrior, Das Boot.

I haven't tired of Tigerland yet. It doesn't have quite as many repeat viewings as the rest, but it just may stand the test of time.

I could probably watch any of these once a month and never tire of them. With many of them I have to make a serious effort not to say the lines out loud when I watch them with other people.

Yep, Shawshank is a firm favourite of mine, such an uplifting movie.

I have seen Stir of Echoes loads of times too.

    Favorite Movies

I can watch Somewhere in Time any day of the week. I cannot tell you how many times I have seen it.

I also like What Dreams May Come. Whew! The colors are so vivid.

Hi Feifer, welcome to the site.

I don't think I've ever seen Somewhere in Time.
    I should probably rent it.

I like threads like this (even though I did start it myself ) as they always give me idead for video or DVD rentals for rainy afternoons.

    Welcome, Feifer!

And Somewhere in Time is a beautiful movie. So sad, though. I don't think I could watch it over and over, not without bawling, that is.

Movies I've watched more than, say, 15 times: Die Hard, Ferris Beuller, the original Star Wars trilogy, Raiders of the Lost Ark, Predator, Aliens, Airplane!, Adventures in Babysitting, Back to the Future...

Edited because I can't figure out the new emoticons...
When you're ten years old and a car drives by and splashes a puddle of water all over you, it's hard to decide if you should go to school like that or try to go home and change and probably be late. So while he was trying to decide, I drove by and splashed him again. - Jack Handey
