When you're ten years old and a car drives by and splashes a puddle of water all over you, it's hard to decide if you should go to school like that or try to go home and change and probably be late. So while he was trying to decide, I drove by and splashed him again. - Jack Handey

awwwww paulie,
ccr CAN'T POSSIBLY be your FAVORITE band, now can it??
that's okay, i think my silence re: that movie speaks volumes.![]()
sher!!!
Yeah, I remember putting the dvd in and when the music started I looked at my husband and said "Are you kidding me?"
We decided to continue watching and it is now one of my favorite movies!
Paulie, did you get the dvd? They have a huge speech from Chaucer that was edited from the scene where Heath is inthe stickade thingy. It was a beautiful speech and I couldn't believe they cut it!
The love interest!"If you love me you'll lose" Biotch! If you loved him you wouldn't ask!

Yes, Cali, I watched all the deleted scenes on the DVD. I loved his deleted speech, too. I love listening to well-spoken, literate people deliver ferocious speeches.![]()

Hmmm.....movies I could watch again and again, eh?
Steel Magnolias
Baby Boom
Bridget Jones' Diary
X-Men
The Adventures of Priscilla, Queen of the Desert
The Color Purple
It's My Party (though I will undoubtedly bawl every time I watch it...heh)
Breakfast at Tiffany's
I'm sure there are others, but those are the first ones that come to mind...
And, yes, Sher, CCR is my favorite band. My favorite song is "Green River" by CCR. And there are maybe 4 or 5 Fogerty/CCR discs in my CD player.
Are we still friends?
And, Lobeck, do you know that I have seen NONE of the movies you listed? Looks like I'd better get busy, huh?![]()

I also have to add Armageddon to the list.
Steve Buscemi cracks me up and Ben has never looked better.
If you go through a lot of hammers each month, I don't think it necessarily means you're a hard worker.
It may just mean that you have a lot to learn about proper hammer maintenance.
OOhhhh, I really liked Armegeddon too. My brother in law hated it beause it was so unrealistic.... duh! It's a movie!
Also liked Owen Wilson in that movie![]()
