I was anticipating this movie until i read the reviews, i didn't mind the XF references but i guess it didn't turn out to be as great as i thought it would be.

I thought the movie was suspensful, and Julianne Moore was great as the grief-stricken mother. I thought the movie was pretty good, but it could've been so much better if it hadn't been for the ending.
There were so many unanswered questions, and all I was left thinking was "Is that it?"

Frosty, I'll attempt to answer your questions with what I got from the movie. Hopefully, my interpretations aren't that way off.

I can't help but read spoilers. Your answers make me want to see the movie even more. I loved your answer to question 5. Maybe they'll come out with The Forgotten II and explain everything.
