    Anchorman 7/09

HAD to start this thread, I'm wondering who else saw the Will Ferrell movie, and if you thought it was or

    DEFINITE

It was silly, fun & sly. The perfect summer "escape" comedy! Also some hillarious unexpected cameos.

Of course I am a little biased since I am a San Diegan & there's some awesome beauty shots & inside jokes

Just the sight of Will Ferrell sends me into paroxysmal fits of laughter and San Diego is my hometown, so I would probably really enjoy this. I don't know if it's quite worth my going to the theater, so I'll probably just wait for rental, however.

Okay, have to comment again. A friend of mine reminded me of the cologne, "Sex Panther."

If you haven't seen it! Go!! It's bizarre!! Yet hilarious!! Yet.........bizarre!! You'll either hate it, and think it's a giant wheel of cheesy weirdness, or...you will laugh. Heartily. And often. If you have zero expectations, my guess is you'll do the latter.

on the anchor gang-fight. Especially loved the weather man ending up on the wrong side for a bit.

    And cameos galore!!

*sigh* I guess there's just the three or four of us that saw this movie here. But it was entertaining. Had to add my final kudos to "Sex Panther."

From me it's 2 thumbs up.

It's the funniest movie I've seen in a long time. 60% of the time it works. Everytime. That doesn't even make sense.
