I liked Forgetting Sarah Marshall. It was funny and cute, sort of a chick flick but not too bad.

Kung Fu Panda: It was really cute. I really enjoyed it and I laughed out loud which is a sign, to me, of a good/cute movie.

I got a boatload this weekend. The Ring 1 and 2, Pan's Labyrinth, and The Orphanage.

Re: Last Movies You Have Rented

I wanted to rent "The Orphanage" but then I saw that it was in English sub-titles and I tend to not like foreign movies that I have to read.

Re: Last Movies You Have Rented

Has anyone seen the new X Files movie? I want to rent it but don't want to be overly disappointed if it's bad.

I saw it in the theater and I have to say it was disappointing. It was more like a two hour episode. But I think if you are a fan of the series you should rent it anyway, just to see Mulder and Scully again if for no other reason.

This weekend watched:
The Ruins - Didn't like it and not what I was expecting at all.
Drillbit Taylor - cute and funny movie except the bully really made me cringe. I hate bullies.
Hancock - predictable but I liked it.

Wanted. I was really disappointed in it...Morgan Freeman was a waste and Angelina Jolie looked bored. Can't blame her, I was nodding off near the end.

Fred Claus - Given that the title role is played by Vince Vaughn, I was expecting this to be pretty dumb. I actually ended up being pleasantly surprised!! It was completely kid appropriate and it was a sweet holiday movie. And really, I have a hard time disliking anything with Kevin Spacey...
