I rented the Pianist, Adrian Brody set in WW2 Poland. Very powerful. The atuff about the movie was fascintaing too. They tried to make everything as it was at the time. You could see archival footage of the same places and activities shown in the movie.

um..no...but you really should watch Battle Royale...good luck finding it at your local Blockbuster (not going to happen), although if you have a region-free DVD player, you can get the Region-3 coded DVD for under $10.
No tears, please. It's a waste of good suffering.

I'm like the last woman on earth who hadn't seen Two Week's Notice. Cute, but not a keeper. The irritating thing was that you had to watch the movie to see the gag reel and outtakes.

The Transporter--I worked at Wal-Mart during the holidays and this DVD was flying off the shelf. Really slick action movie and Jason Statham is pretty cool! IMDB has it that he's making a Transporter II. Sequels never really work for me....

The Bone Snatcher--total waste of time! I was expecting horror and got ants instead. I wanted 28 Days Later, but the hubby won out with this one. I'm picking the next one for sure!

I rented Honey last night - because of the reviews here
I liked it but it was not what I was expecting .. I was expecting more like Save the Last Dance - her struggle to make it in a very insulated industry.
    I LOVED those little kids.

Oh, I saw that!! About the kids in the competition killing one another? I saw that while in Korea, it was pretty good. What role did the girl who played Gogo play?

I just watched Kill Bill Vol 1. I loved it and am eager to see vol 2.

I also just rented Capturing the Friedmans - planning to watch it tonight. Should be interesting considering that I'm actively looking for childcare. Or should I say scary?
