Beyond Borders - well, it is still beyond me why I watched the whole movie. Maybe because sometimes it is fun to watch trainwrecks to happen. The "issues" were serious, but the movie itself was absolutely horrible. Have to add that this was very "Mystery Science Theatre 3000" worthy, commenting this movie while watching it can only help...

Rented both "Cold Creek Manor" and the new "Texas Chainsaw Massacre." I was disappointed by both.

Gothika. For all the negative reviews I had heard about it, I didn't go into it with much hope . . .but was pleasantly surprised. I really enjoyed it. Hmmmm . . . what does that say about me ????

The problem with Gothika was that it didn't know if it wanted to be a horror movie or a thriller, and that the ending was annoyingly predictable. A waste of Halle Berry and Robert Downey Jr. (and I am a big RDJ fan), IMO.

We rented Cold Creek Manor and Mona Lisa smile most recently. CCM was a huge disappointment - it could have been a movie of the week :rolleyes

I loved Mona Lisa Smile - it reminded me a lot of an old Hailey Mills movie The Trouble With Angles.

I rented "Honey" and "The Rundown". Honey was a really good movie. Much better than I thought it would be.

The Rundown was alright. The Rock is not a great actor, but I expected that.
