Ugh, we watched The Last Exorcism II... I loved the first one, it really creeped me out and the ending was a shock, this one not so good. Standard horror movie formula.

At the urging of my son I watched again, off meds. I loved it! He said there is no plot, don't try to follow anything other than the relationships. He knows me well. He also said he is glad he didnt watch it with me! I am always asking what just happened or who is that, etc. I have a need to know on a moment to moment basis.

Let go and enjoy the reincartion drama. Fabulous.

Quartet is on my to be rented list. It's got a great cast; I'm really looking for to seeing it.

We watched this one over the weekend...they should have just left it at the first movie. Part two added nothing to the story.

Exactly. At least if you are going to do a sequel make it important to and part of the story line.

Watched a few over the long weekend -

Hit and Run: a weird little comedy action movie. Pretty good, but Bradley Cooper has never looked so scuzzy.

Cars 2: Cute. What else can you say?

The Hunters: waste of time about a group of local weirdos who run a hunt club. And guess what? They don't hunt animals. Meh. This movie was a mess and I've decided that Dianna Agron just cannot act.

We watched Oz the Great and Powerful. I remember the reviews were lukewarm, so I went into it with low expectations.... I loved it! So did my husband, who was surprised it was reviewed poorly.

I just watched Paul, a spoof of E.T, written by Simon Pegg and Nick Frost. I wasn't expecting much, but it had me laughing out loud. Excellent cast in both cameo and featured roles that featured, among others, Seth Rogen, Jason Bateman, Jeffrey Tambor, Jane Lynch, Blythe Danner, Kristin Wiig, and Sigourney Weaver. There was even a voice over cameo by Spielberg.

I saw Paul quite some time ago and thought it was hilarious.
