Actually, I don't understand how kids under 10 understand the HP books because ,at that age, they don't have such a large vocabulary. All the younger kids, that I know, that have read the HP books had their parents read it to them..so..It isn't just a good book for 6 or 7 years olds.
J K rowling designed the books to appeal to a huge variety of ages and interests...and it worked. But the books are sooo much better than the movies.

    40 Days & 40 Nights.

I can't believe how good it was.
If you go through a lot of hammers each month, I don't think it necessarily means you're a hard worker.
It may just mean that you have a lot to learn about proper hammer maintenance.

The last movies I rented were Ring, Feardot. com, Ghost Ship, and Sum of all Fears. Ghost Ship and Sum of all Fears was good. Didn't reall y care for the Ring or Feardot. com.

    I really didn't like Feardot.com at all.
I thought it was very lame.
Seemed very low budget for one thing, as if the acting and storyline weren't bad enough.

We rented Ghostship, even though we'd seen it at the theatre.
I actually preferred it second time round.

This week, I doubled the size of my DVD collection. I bought "Captain Ron" on DVD - Wal-Mart was running a bin special for $5.48, and it was in the bin.

We rented Signs last night. I didn't think it was that good, it sort of lost me midway.

also rented an old tape called Comedy's Dirty Dozen....Chris Rock at age 21 was on there and Tim Allen pre Home Improvement. some of it was very very very funny and wierd to look back at (this was filmed in the 1980's) some of it was not at all. It was fun to see the "old" hair styles.

as for Harry Potter...yes the books are also for adults. I've read all 4 both to the kids and too myself and I loved them as much as the kids.
