College Road Trip - Pretty mediocre. However, it made my kids laugh and that generally makes me laugh so it wasn't a total loss.

More than I expected. Actually he and the girl who played his daughter were pretty funny!! I liked the interaction between Donny O and Martin Lawrence!

ETA - I just realized i didn't really answer the question. Donny O wasn't a constant, but he kept popping back into the story throughout the movie.

Superhero Movie: What an awful movie! I didn't even finish the last 20 minutes. I was so bored by it. It was just.. bad!

Reese Witherspoon produced the movie Penelope, hence her appearance in it. It was probably figured that her being a costar would add to the movie's box office draw, though it didn't appear to work. I rented it this weekend and thought it was quite good. It was a bit confusing as some characters were American and some were British and the scenery was generally British (it was filmed in Britain as well) so I found myself distracted a bit, wondering where exactly the story was supposed to be taking place. Although I guess, as a fairytale, it could really be taking place anywhere.

    21. We loved it. But my husband watches those shows about the people that have broken the bank in Vegas and other gambling hotspots around the world and he remembered the group this movie was based on. They traveled around the world going to casinos.

Anyway, it was a good movie, but when the Rolling Stones song: "You Can't Always Get What You Want" started playing, I guessed how it would end (only 30 seconds before the movie actually ended. )

Last night, we watched Jumper. What a waste of 88 minutes! The premise of the movie was good and I was excited at the notion of seeing Hayden Christensen and Samuel Jackson together again () but it was disappointing and no where near as good as I expected.

That has been playing on Pay Per View and everytime I peruse the PPV channels and see it, I think of all the negative remarks made on here and I don't order it.

I love the movie reviews here as I've hardly been let down by any of the posters. If the majority say it's bad, it usually is and I don't even bother with trying to watch it. If the majority say they loved it, I give it a try. Sometimes I don't love it, but most of the time I do.

This thread is better than the professional movie critics who I NEVER agree with.
