Terribly sorry for posting two in a row, but just watched:
Perfect Stranger: I can see why it didn't do that well. It was an okay movie though. It definitely dragged in parts, and the ending suddenly came as a bit of a shock. It was like all of a sudden the whole movie switched, with the supposedly obvious hints throughout. Maybe they were and I just missed them? You're not missing anything by not watching it.
Don't you just love it when movies do that? It can't be a great idea all of the time. Although, I've found that reviewing films that previously baffled me shed a lot of light on the things I didn't like or understand the first time, just like a great book. I'll have to check this movie out, though. It looks interesting. Besides, I'm always being let down... I don't suppose a movie will hurt much, though.![]()
MULDER: It's still there, Scully. 200,000 years down in the ice.
SCULLY: Leave it there.
Perhaps you may be pleasantly surprised after my somewhat critical review.
Blades of Glory: Good movie. Funny, sometimes raunchy but far less raunchy than say Knocked up. Loved the cast and thought they all fit perfectly together. If you like Will Ferrell, then rent this if you haven't already seen it!
Saw The Number 23 last night. Absolutely horrid. It was nothing like I thought it would be and could have had so much potential but it was just stupidly done. I think Jim Carrey is a good dramatic actor but this role was a real stinker for him.
i finished watching zodiac today and i have to say that i liked it ... a lot. it was certainly INTENSE at times ... but i didn't like how it ended. i felt really let down. but then again, since it's based on a true story, they had no choice how to end it. i was kinda hoping that there would be a twist and one of the main characters would end up being the zodiac (like paul avery). oh well.
but yeah, i'm giving it 4 out of 5 stars on my netflix list.
2 weeks ago, Hard Candy. Today im watching Sherrybaby and i also have, I Think I Love My Wife on hand.
Kiss me, ki-ki-kiss me
Infect me with your love and Fill me with your poison...
I watched Primeval last night. Primeval (2007) Not my choice, and I would not recommend it. Almost as bad as Congo, but not bad enough to enjoy making fun of.
It's such a fine line between stupid, and clever. -- David St. Hubbins
Well it was more like borrowed than rented but tonight I saw "Wild Hogs". I thought it was cute enough but the best part of the movie to me were the scenes when the credits were rolling. The wholeClick to see Spoiler:
THe Exorcism of Emily Rose: It was not at all what I thought it would be. I didn't realize the movie was going to be centered around a trial. I didn't like the movie and I don't recommend it.
