Re: Last Movies You Have Rented

Thanks John! I looked her up after I had posted. I hope to hear more from her.

I'm going to be watching another movie probably tomorrow called Come Early Morning and I have no idea what it's about. My SIL is a member of Blockbuster through the mail and she loaned me her two recent picks while she's out of town.

Without giving anything away, if anyone has seen this, is it worth watching? I'm purposely not looking up what it's about so that it doesn't influence my decision as some of the best movies I've ever seen are ones I never would have picked from reading the back of the box.

You can give me a clue though as to whether it's comedy, drama etc. so that I'll know what to be expecting.

It's a drama, with an 83% rating on rotten tomatoes. I haven't seen it though.

Watched "Because I said so" with Diane Keaton and Mandy Moore on On Demand when I was home sick one day last week. I thought it would be fluffy, easy, cute chick-flick fare, but was quite bored. Never even finished it. Which I rarely do. Definitely don't recommend it.

i was highly disappointed by that movie, also. i love diane keaton and many moore is USUALLY more entertaining, but that one was a DUD.

I recently rented "The Dead Girl", which I thought was a very interesting, if sad and slightly boring, movie. The way in which the story was told was very different than I'd seen before.

I also rented "Running Scared", not at all to be confused with the GOOD movie starring Billy Crystal and Gregory Hines. This was just plain awful. I can't believe it got so many good ratings at imdb. Terrible.

My mom rented premonition and it was just really really confusing, but it wasn't a bad movie.

Just watched :Behind the Mask: The Rise of Leslie Vernon

I give it 4 stars out of 5. Clever "mockumentary" of the slasher films. Point of view coming from the serial killer who tells us all his secrets. Funny stuff.
