I saw Failure to Launch on Friday and really liked it. Terry Bradshaw and Kathy Bates were hilarious as the parents, they were fantastically cast. The animal scenes cracked me up. Zooey Deschanel was great as the sidekick/friend. I expected more out of Matthew McConaughey, but he was still nice to look at. I have to say the downside of the movie was Sarah Jessica Parker, as she just doens't bring it in movies. I liked her as Carrie on Sex in the City, but I have been disappointed in her turns in this movie, and in The Family Stone movie.

Overall, great movie, but it's the supporting characters and the non-main storylines that make the movie.

Syriana I rented last week and hated it....I know, shoot me.
Saw Munich this week--thought it was just okay...
16 Blocks with Bruce Willis and Mos Def--better than either of the other two. I see Mos improving in every single movie.

I saw that "16 Blocks" movie last week. I thought it started slow, but then it was really, really good. Much better than I expected.

Does On Demand count? If so, I just watched the 2006 version of "The Hills Have Eyes" unedited version. Man was it gross. Not so much scary but there were some "jump" scenes that had you going "Oh, my God!" Very disturbing and from the end, it looked like they were setting things up for a sequel. I could be wrong however. All in all very good but not as scary as I thought it was going to be.
Hurley: (holding up a Jesus statue) I don't know. I thought there might be a prowler or something.
Mrs. Reyes: (grabbing the statue) Jesus Christ is not a weapon! - LOST "There's No Place Like Home Pt. 1

I'm a bit embarrassed to admit it, but last weekend I was at a friend's house and we all stopped by Hollywood Video after dinner and rented 'Clue' after a long time of indecisiveness, lol I hadn't seen that in such a long time and the rest of my friends never even knew it was made into a movie. Gotta love Tim Curry
