That's so weird -I also just watched Irma Vep, though if you like Maggie in that, you're gonna love her in Clean. She won the Best Actress award at the Caan Film fest for her role of a mother trying to put her life back together after dealing with drug addiction and the role she played in the death of her husband.

Oooh! I haven't seen that one, nausicaa. That one's definitely going to the top of my movie queue.

I'm about halfway through Kurosawa's Kagemusha. It's just great.

I finally saw the Incredibles today! I loved it!

I've also recently seen Center Stage, a ballet movie (terrible acting, beautiful dancing) and Bend It Like Beckham.

    Same here.

I don't know how I feel about it. I really don't know what I was expecting. While I didn't love it like Finding Nemo or Monsters Inc., I still thought it was good. The animation was amazing, came out so clear on my LCD computer monitor.

    SIDEWAYS
I guess this movie was meant for middle-aged wine loving men who still want
to be boys. Mid-life crises at it's most boring IMO. Couldn't they have at least got a couple of good looking men to keep the ladies interested.

I also watched Elektra, this really should have been a TV movie. A bad copycat
    of Kill Bill.

I loved Center stage, the ballet dancing was so beautiful...plus I loved the little love story there

I watched Super Size Me last night....ew. It was a bit melodramatic, but did make me think about how often I eat that stuff. I'll never touch a McNugget again!
It was me. I let the dogs out.

I'm twenty minutes into The Saddest Music of the World. It's my first Guy Maddin film and I'm lovin' it. The movie looks like was transported from the early 1900s (the silent era) with some arty Citizen Kane-shots thrown in and light humor and melodrama to balance the artiness. So far,

Rented Spanglish last night. It started off pretty good, and then towards to middle-end it got quite boring, very slow. Quite the disfunctional family!

Hotel Rwanda - I strongly, strongly recommend this movie.

The Woodsman - Very dark, not for everyone.
If you go through a lot of hammers each month, I don't think it necessarily means you're a hard worker.
It may just mean that you have a lot to learn about proper hammer maintenance.
