    Matt Damon Tying the Knot Too?

    According to the New York Post, Matt Damon will wed girlfriend Odessa Whitmire, once the personal assistant of Damon's best friend Ben Affleck. Reports say Damon announced the engagement last Wednesday at a New York benefit hosted by George Clooney. Damon met the 27-year-old Whitmire when Ben Affleck checked into rehab in September 2001. Maybe a double wedding is in the works?

    Why have a spectcle of a wedding for your third in, what, 5 years? If I were Whitmire I'd call "dibs" on wearing white right away. Oh, I'm catty today.

    Hey, someone tell me if this is true. I heard that Matt Damon and Mark Wahlberg have kind of a feud going on. I guess they're both from Boston (?), and they don't like each other. Story I heard was that when Matt Damon was with Winona Ryder, she went to Mark Wahlberg to try to facilitate the two of them burying the hatchet once and for all. Anyway, turns out Wahlberg buried his hatchet all right. Winona wound up sleeping with Marky Mark, the story goes, ending the relationship with Matt and further deepening the feud by adding a pretty significant feather to Wahlberg's, ahem, coup stick.

    Is this true? God, it's hilarious if it is. What a traveling freak show the world of celebrity romance is.
