Sorry Homer, but if the person in the shower is a woman, she WILL hear the phone ring no matter what the volume of the ringer is set at.

Lotus, Julia wasn't the one dying in "Dying Young". She was a nurse caring for a young man dying from... either cancer or AIDS. I don't remember but I've seen the movie a bunch of times.

In all movies where there is a bomb about to go off. The hero always manages to disarm the bomb when there is exactly one second left on the clock.

Lotus, another example of that is Wynona Ryder in Autumn in New York.

In all movies, shows and Soap Operas, whenever there is a hospital scene, count how many people you see using their cell phones in the hospital. Uummm...hello, doesn't anyone know that they're not supposed to use cell phones in a hospital??? Also the I hate you/I love you syndrome. First there are one male and one female character who start out the movie or show hating each other's guts. Then by the end of the movie or after 1 or 2 seasons of the show (10 episodes in the case of Soaps), they're madly in love and shaking the sheets.

Bette Davis is another : beautiful death in Dark Victory. I didn't see Dying Young, I thought it would just be another beautiful death movie. Also Sweet November, I saw the original with Sandy Dennis, but there was a remake with Charlize Theron I think.

Yeah, and Native Americans are all wise and homeless people are all virtuous.

When a girl is running for her life from the killer, she always falls. Or she`s running, and the killer is walking, but he always seems to catch up to her, despite how fast she`s going and how slow he is.

No matter what, the bad guy ALWAYS finds where the cop's wife/daughter is and they kidnap her.

Ohh.. and the classic line from the good guy is ALWAYS, "It's not HER you want, it's me!"

All things beautiful do not have to be full of color to be noticed; in
life that which is unnoticed has the most power.
