    Old movie re-makes

Here is your chance to list the ones you

    liked
the ones they should have left alone
    the ones they should make!

I loved the re-make of miracle on 34th street and thomas crowne

should have left an affair to remember alone

Would love to see a re-make of Barefoot in the park

They certainly should have left Twelve Angry Men alone imo.

I don't think anyone can really justify the remake of Psycho. I think Hitchcock got it right the first time.

I thought Point of No Return was a pretty pathetic remake. La Femme Nikita was far better.
Iím haunted a little this evening by feelings that have no vocabulary and events that should be explained in dimensions of lint rather than words.

no interest there... I think bill made a good suggestion on the survivor 5 page,, Willy Wonka would be a good remake!

I really liked the original Willy Wonka. I suppose the technology is there to make some interesting changes, but I just can't picture anyone else but Gene Wilder in that role. I would certainly watch it if they remade it though.

Oh yeah, Rollerball stunk , Oceans eleven while not horrible shouldn't have been re done. It just makes the filmakers look silly redoing good films instead of coming up with new stuff.

A really good Dune adaptation with no Sting (huh?)would be good.
